About Us
McConnell Sand and Stone LLC is owned and operated by Richard H Jackson. This company was originally established in 1957 under the name Russ McConnell Gravel, grandfather of Rick. Due to a major illness in 1986, Rick was given the opportunity to continue the legacy under the new name McConnell Sand and Stone, LLC. One thing that has continued from 1957 to today is the commitment Rick has continued that Russ began. McConnell Sand and Stone, LLC is licensed and insured. Our commitment to Value Added Service is an “add on” to large core projects, whether it is in the private or public sector.

We are currently growing and expanding with a commitment on large dredging projects with long reach applications utilizing a dragline operation. We work diligently with sand and gravel mining operations throughout the mid-west.

Reviving Old Lattice Boom Cranes
We take pride in reviving older cranes and equipment and refurbishing them. We take these old iron giants and give them new life enabling them to contribute to large sand and gravel projects with their long reach capabilities. By restoring these pieces of heavy equipment, we close the gap on losing our great history and products that even today’s new machinery may not be capable to accomplish.
